This is a California and Colorado only owned, 15 Jetta TDi SE that is in great mechanical condition. We just replaced the windshield, replaced the engine oil and oil filter, new rear brake pads, rear brake pad sensors, flushed the brake fluid and this one gets 31/46 mpg city/highway. Today’s clean turbo-diesels are quieter than old ones were, along with being smokeless and nearly odorless. The revised 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder TDI clean diesel engine offers an increase in fuel efficiency over the previous version (by 4 mpg). The direct-injected powerplant makes 150 horsepower and 236 pound-feet of torque, the latter on tap from as low as 1,750 rpm. EPA fuel economy estimates for the Jetta TDI are 31/46 mpg City/Highway, with the manual transmission and 31/45 mpg with the 6-speed dual clutch automatic. Handling response is sharp and precise, and braking capability is best in class. This Jetta comes with automatic climate and headlight control, a climate-controlled center console, heated windshield washer nozzles, rain-sensing wipers, a power moonroof, and a 10-speaker AM/FM/CD. The Cold Weather Package adds electrically heated seats, and a split-folding rear seat with ski sack. Unlike most of the competition, which uses belts to drive the camshafts, the Jetta diesel engine has internal chains for the twin overhead cams, eliminating the need for periodic replacement of the timing belt.
